2. Consider your body weight Lighter sleepers who weigh below 130lbs don’t sink as far into a mattress and can be well-suited to softer options as a result – between 2 and 4 on the firmness scale. However, a medium-firm mattress would also be a good choice.
People between 130-230lbs and above are more suited to medium-firm or medium-firm mattresses.
Heavier sleepers who weigh above 230lbs can be well-suited to firmer mattresses, between an 8-10 rating, which prevent them sinking through the various comfort levels.
